PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Culture:
Good Fulton & Farrell’s culture is that of a “strong idea / business oriented” practice.  “Good design is good business” and we approach every assignment with an optimistic and energetic vision to produce buildings and places of lasting value, appropriate to both time and place.  We support and maintain an on-going spirit of learning, friendship, camaraderie and collaboration among our staff.

GFF has been named AIA Dallas “Firm of the Year” an unprecedented three times (1987, 1991 and most recently in 2005), once during each decade of our existence!

Organization:
Good Fulton & Farrell’s diverse architectural practice is orgainized into seven studios.  These “firms within a firm” afford us the opportunity to stay closer to our clients while allowing us to draw from the resources available to large firms.

Professional Associations and Community Involvement:
Good Fulton & Farrell encourages involvement in professional organizations to provide development opportunities for employees, to insure appropriate firm representation in the professional community, and to “give back” to our community and to our profession.  This is best exhibited by our principal’s example of leadership at the highest levels.  We are actively involved in the; AIA, IIDA, the Texas Society of Architects, The Real Estate Council, ULI, CSI, The Dallas Plan, The Central Dallas Association, The Greater Dallas Planning Council, the Dallas Assembly and The NAIOP.  Membership dues may be paid in full or subsidized annually.

Licensing Examination Preparation and Fees:
Good Fulton & Farrell encourages its staff to become licensed in their respective professions. A current set of study materials are available for use, and informal study groups exist to support those preparing to take the ARE or NCIDQ examinations. In addition, paid time off to take the exam is
available to employees taking it for the first time.  Licensing fees are paid for all architects and interior designers upon receipt of license.
