Cityplace Master Plan

Dallas, Texas

The new owners of this strategic 140-acre property near Downtown Dallas, originally assembled by Southland Corporation in the early 1980’s, required a new master plan to re-position the tract for proper development in the 1990’s. Our firm was teamed with prime consultant Cooper-Robertson and Partners of New York to perform a site analysis, investigate development options, and fashion a preferred plan for medium density housing, neighborhood and regional retail, and corporate office uses. For nearly two decades, we  provided on-going consulting to the owners as the neighborhood has matured and evolved. Activities included design of new streets and the development of Uptown Station to accommodate the interface between the McKinney Avenue Trolley and the DART’s light rail system.
