Jesuit College Preparatory School – Campus Master Plan

Dallas, Texas

As the Jesuit Campus continued to grow and mature, the need for a comprehensive master plan to help guide future growth became evident to the Jesuit community. GFF was engaged in 1998 to help direct this planning. The 27-acre site at the Dallas North Tollway, just south of LBJ Freeway was in many respects “fully grown.” GFF’s challenge working with the facility committee was to identify and resolve issues of pedestrian and vehicular circulation, parking needs, provide new facilities for art and music, drama, theaters and an auditorium, science laboratories and some athletic functions. Two major building programs that came out of these initiatives are the Science and Counseling Wing and the AAA building (Arts, Athletics and Assembly). Successful campaigns were launched and achieved for the 900 student college preparatory school for young men.
