Freedom Crossing at Joint Base San Antonio – Fort Sam Houston

Freedom Crossing at Joint Base San Antonio – Fort Sam Houston will transform the existing Post Exchange (PX) into a signature lifestyle center with approximately 500,000 SF of new construction including a new PX shopping center, AAFES Concession Mall, third-party retail tenant space, theater, gas station and dual food facility.

The center is designed as a cosseting environment with a “main street” feeling invoked by broad sidewalks, open verandas, water fountains tied together with a warm, native material palette inspired by the region. The project will seek LEED Silver certification upon completion. Anticipated occupancy date is late 2013.
