Mercer Crossing Business Park

Located within the City of Farmers Branch, the Mercer Crossing Business Park represents one of the few remaining unique opportunities to where an entire area can be redefined. Overlooking a 57 acre lake and located within the overall 225 acre mixed use campus, GFF was tasked with the planning and design for the first three phases of the corporate campus. The master plan includes three buildings with a central park featuring a large scale sculpture anchoring the development. With connectivity to the city’s hike and bike trail being a great selling point for this location, a hike and bike trail that hugs the lake is proposed. The trail is flanked with a series of trees and art gateways that create a sense of place at each transition. Lastly, and with Billingsley’s desire for this to be a high energy area, an outdoor grilling area, sand volleyball courts, bocce ball courts, outdoor meeting areas and multiple seating opportunities have been incorporated into the design.
